Radiesse®
Imagine young-looking, wrinkle-free skin Drs. Weisberg and Cederna have found that the use of the filler Radiesse® may be the best treatment available to date. Previously, the only way to fill these wrinkles was with a lifetime of bovine (cow) collagen injections, which can cause allergic reactions; or solid implants that can look and feel unnatural.
Radiesse® does not require allergy testing. Radiesse® is an innovative product that has been used for many years in prosthetic implants in dental, facial and orthopedic surgery. The product consists of calcium hydroxylapatite, which is a normal constituent of the bone and, therefore, should not cause inflammatory or immune reactions.

Radiesse® treatments are performed in our office and take about 30 minutes. Radiesse® is pre-loaded in syringes for use in treating and correcting your facial lines and other soft tissue defects. First we apply a little topical anesthetic. Then Radiesse® is injected into the wrinkle through a tiny needle placed just under your skin. Unlike other fillers, Radiesse® is not absorbed by the body. Therefore, we do not need to over-fill the wrinkle. Your results are immediate.
Depending on the area treated, most corrections may last for several months or longer. Some touch-up treatments may be necessary. The most positive factor in using Radiesse® is that patients don't have to come back every three months and they still look great!
