Christy Marino
Operating Room Nurse

Christy has been the OR Nurse at the Plastic Surgery Center since she met Dr. Weisberg in 1990 in the Mercy Hospital Operating Room. He asked her to join his office and the rest is history. She graduated from Charity Hospital School of Nursing in 1978 with a diploma in Nursing. She is a Registered Nurse in the State of Maine and graduated from the University of Southern Maine in 2002 with a BS in Nursing. Christy started her nursing career working in the emergency room and intensive care unit from 1978-1981. From there she moved onto working in the Operating Room and has worked in numerous operating rooms since. Christy enjoys giving quality, comprehensive, individualized patient care in our ambulatory surgical facility.

Krista Lynch
Certified Nurses Assistant

Krista has worked in the medical field for over 32 years. Krista started her career at Westbrook Community Hospital specializing in out patient surgery. While working at WCH she met Dr. Weisberg in 2000 and this is when he asked her to join his practice. Over the past 12 years she has truly enjoyed each and every aspect of her job. She works closely with each patient preparing them before and after surgery. She works side by side with her patients and their families to ensure a wonderful experience for all involved. Krista’s caring spirit and joyful attitude helps to ease and comfort everyone around her. Krista feels blessed to be able to work so closely with Dr. Weisberg, his amazing staff and wonderful patients.

Laura Tasker
Surgical Tech

Laura has been with the Plastic Surgery Center since December 2007. She has over 30 years experience assisting in various surgical procedures. She earned her associates degree in Surgical Technology and Applied Science in 1982. She truly enjoys her co-workers, because they all work as a team to help the patient, from beginning to the end assuring that they have a safe comfortable positive experience. Laura is intrigued by Dr. Weisberg’s passion for helping our patients achieve realistic rejuvenating goals.

Ellen Hallett
Medical Assistant

Ellen joined the Plastic Surgery Center in March of 2011 shortly after completing her degree in Applied Science at Kaplan University. What she enjoys most about working here is being able to work with the finest Surgeons in the Plastic Surgery business along with their team of healthcare professionals. Her goal here is to bring about a wonderful experience for both patients and family from the pre-operative visit to the post operative. Seeing the smiles on the patients faces, after their healing is complete, is so rewarding to her.

Erika Smith
Front Office Coordinator

Erika is a friendly face at the Plastic Surgery Center greeting each patient with a smile. As the front office coordinator she provides caring services to patients, including daily clerical needs such as checking patients in and out , scheduling appointments as well as taking care of all financial obligations. Erika ensures that the practice website is up to date, to help keep existing and potential patients informed on all the latest and greatest surgical and non surgical procedures that the practice offers. Erika has been with the practice for 3 years and enjoys getting to meet the patients as they start there cosmetic surgical journey.

Bonnie Fusco
Patient Finance Coordinator

Bonnie has had the privilege of working with Dr. Verne Weisberg for 21 years. She started as the Weisberg’s nanny and helped raise their three daughters. Once the children had grown, she started her new position at the Plastic Surgery Center as front desk coordinator, shortly after she became a Patient Finance Coordinator. She truly enjoys working very closely with her co- workers and considers them top notch. She currently meets and speaks with existing and potential patients educating them on cosmetic surgery and financial options. She provides all financial quotes following consultations and schedules all surgical procedures. Bonnie is very grateful to be given the opportunity to be part of such an important life changing decision in each patients life. It is a wonderful, rewarding position.

Penny Turgeon
Patient Educator

Penny has over 17 years experience in the medical field. She came to the office as a Front Desk Coordinator in 2005 and then took on the position of Patient Care Coordinator. She has assisted patients with surgery estimates and gives them a better understanding of the services offered within the practice.
